  1. My 1st online shopping order from lazada was last december, received my order defective – all courier declined check before pay request .. problem is even if you follow their DRTM return / packaging guidelines , you wont be able to complete the process midway if you order an appliance weighing 15kgs up. LBC will declined transit / return request since i cant provide a WOODEN CRATE for safety transit which is not included in LAZADA return guidelines . literally something that customer shouldn't be liable at the first place

  2. PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU ORDER IN LAZADA

    DONT USE CREDIT CARD!…

PLEASE USE IN CASH ON DELIVERY

Please Pag Nag order kayo i check nyo ung mga RATINGS AT REVIEWS PARA MALAMAN NINYO KUNG LEGIT O SCAM YUNG GUSTO NYONG BILHIN

PAGDATING SA BAHAY UNG INORDER MO PLEASE GUYS I CHECK NYO MUNA YUNG LAMAN BAGO NYO BAYARAN UNG DELIVERY MAN!…

  3. if the product has no brand, no review, and you pay them via online, then you probably are gonna get scammed. if youre gonna order for them make sure its cash on delivery instead of paying them online instantly. id rather pay them when the product is delivered and check the products first.

  4. An example of a terrible review:

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
    first name last name
i orded an electric fan what i got is laptop! where is the electric fan? gosh i’m so disappointed i’m returning this

  5. Kasalan yan ng mga Aquino dahil ninakaw nila ang pera ng Lazada. Maniwala na lang tayo sa mahal nating pangulo na panagutin si Panot sa mga katarantaduhang ginawa niya sa Lazada.

  6. Hi Ned, check this out, i tried to order this Samsung Curved 65 Smart TV for only 25,499 very cheap! Red Flag and i ordered through COD to make sure if it's a TV am getting, I made an order through the seller, AUTOMATIC AND EASY, with Order ##### with COD as mode of payment. I called their customer care to confirm my order and he referred me to this phone number (0929 334 3434), saying that this is the seller's contact information. I was just surprised that the person I talked to said that he is not the seller but he is a member of the LAZADA processing team. He even sent me the email below to "confirm" his legitimacy; however, it shocked me more when he requested for a down-payment via a remittance center. This is clearly not their official communication channel and as shown in their advisory below; and they never request for a deposit or down-payment: Important for your Security:
Lazada Philippines will NEVER ask you to send cash or deposit money to any personal bank account or remittance centers. Do not give out your bank account/credit card details or any personal information to anyone who claims to be Lazada Philippines' representative not using our official channels of communication. 7. "Hi, Dude
I launched an extension Lazada – price tracker in Google web store. Could you help me to make a tutorial video and publish it on your Youtube channel for you fans? With it you can easily track historical price of any Lazada products – https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/lazada-price-tracker/hbffioiakemflkglioiijpfddgahchaf"

  9. I ordered a cellphone in Lazada and when I opened the box it is a baby feeding bottle inside! I returned the item however they did not refund my money through my credit card!

  10. I was making a purchase at Lazada within the past week using a credit card and the transaction was denied. After two attempts I tried a different card and it went through. A few hours later I received calls from my bank's early warning department. They froze my card and wanted to verify that it was me making the purchase. I was surprised as they know I'm in the Philippines and I've made many purchases here with no issues. I inquired further and the bank indicated that Lazada was high risk. I didn't ask why but I assume that a lot of fraud is happening at Lazada. I prefer to pay with a card for larger transactions in the Philippines as it gives the consumer recourse if the merchant is dishonorable. If one pays with cash or through remittance there is no recourse available and your money is gone. I know that some fear giving their card number out as they risk theft from a stolen card number but at least you're protected with most US banks. To help mitigate this risk I set up an alert where I receive an email for every transaction. If someone attempts fraud I can shut them down almost instantly. For high risk merchants I can even generate a one time use credit card number with a limit that would only cover that purchase. I'm glad that Lazada stepped up and did the right thing for Ned but they really need to improve their security protocols. Welcome to the Philippines 🙂

  11. Ned, speaking of possible scams,. do you know of a reliable floral service I could use to send Valentine flowers/gifts to my girlfriend in Manila? I’m in the US and I found https://www.sendflowerstophilippines.net
but a couple of sketchy reviews have me a little unsure of using those guys. Thank you!
    Steve

  12. Amazing. I'm glad you posted this. I'm living in Cebu now since I moved here from Dumaguete last August. I've used Lazada (Philippines version of Amazon). I've never had a problem with Lazada, but saying that, I'll take your advice and open package before I pay. Sigh.

  13. Not saying this is you cause I don't think so. But I just cannot resist saying the description I have heard in Arizona and elsewhere: Dumb as a box of rocks
