im sorry but your comparison of D90 to 500D is really stupid, D90 was the pro DX body of Nikon, which was later replaced by the D7000, however the 500D was a starter DSLR, it may have better features such as higher resolution for both video and stills, but D90 have much more pro accessories designed for it which 500D can only dream of it(unless u wanna buy shitty Chinese third-party part)
